Classes begin and end on time Please be prompt and organized so as not to interrupt class flow.
AIREDANSE is fun! It's also a real workout. Be prepared to use your body and muscles in a new way while stepping outside your comfort zone. Don't expect to be doing back flips the first day!
No dance experience? No worries! AIREDANSE classes are guided with no counts to obey.
IS AIREDANSE HARD?
AKA – "I don't think I have the upper body strength to do it!"
IS IT SCARY?
Any new fitness experience is challenging at first. You will develop strength by DOING it. And, no - you don't need to go to a gym and lift weights first! Unlike weightlifting which isolates specific muscle groups, AIREDANSE works all your core muscles simultaneously.
Gaining confidence and control over the fabric is exhilarating and empowering! Inverting (going upside down) and spinning can feel unsettling at first. Just keep coming back, and you’ll turn your fears into fierce!
IS AIREDANSE AERIAL YOGA?
WHAT AGES CAN ATTEND AIREDANSE CLASSES?
No. Our instruction is firmly rooted in dance and aerial technique. However, AIREDANSE was developed by Lauren Breese, herself a dancer, aerialist and certified Yogi. So each class begins and ends with elements of Yoga. Because Yoga rocks for building core strength, cultivating proper breathing, and bringing presence to your practice!
We currently offer classes for adults and teens. Think you are too old? Talk to Lauren Breese, AIREDANSE Founder – she'll inspire you to keep moving and start flying!
